Our Sustainabillity Commitment
From the onset of this project, energy efficiency and sustainability were our top priorities. We recognize our corporate duty to serve both our customers and the surrounding community responsibly. We were honored to be accepted into Efficiency Manitoba’s Innovation Fund as the inaugural project to receive funding. This opportunity allowed us to form a partnership with Quik-Therm Insulation, Behlen Industries, and T2K Enterprises to develop and implement a proprietary insulation and building envelope system. Our Initial project goal was to exceed the national energy code by 30%.Â
Following a comprehensive energy audit, we are thrilled to announce that our facility is performing 42% above the national energy code and achieved an Energy Star rating of 97/100, making it one of the most energy-efficient buildings in Canada.
